Immediately after returning from our honeymoon, Adler and I jumped right into production for Forte Theatre's production of For The Love Of Shakespeare, a cabaret style show that wove together Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth with narration, music, improv and dance. While the show incorporated many modern elements, it was still built upon the Shakespearean text. I played Juliet and did a bit of text coaching while Adler played Tybalt and Hamlet and staged all the fights
Shot by Scott Link, this short film tells the story of a married couple who have made it through difficulties and dishonesty in their relationship. When Josh, the husband who cheated in the past, goes behind Emily's back to text another woman, the film causes the viewer to question his motives.

Last weekend I traveled to Philly to begin shooting Not Where I Want To Be, directed by Paul Costa. I had a wonderful time meeting the crew, and spending time with my co-star Kyle Ramsden. Kyle has played a secret service agent in the last few seasons of Veep, and was absolutely wonderful as a scene partner.
I love doing comedy because it's ok to have messy hair and more than one chin :) My character, Emma, is a very creative twentysomething stuck in a boring job at an
In a month I will be headed to Philly to work on Not Where I Want To Be (title is subject to change), directed by Paul Costa and produced by Maria Fortese. The short film tells the story of Emma (me) and Guy (Kyle Ramsden), two twenty somethings who are both looking for someone to share their life with. They are experiencing the quarter life crisis and are both frustrated with their jobs. This mutual feeling, along with their destines-to-cross paths leads them to each other
I just found out this week that The Underpants Lamb, a short film directed by Katie Tamboer, that I did the voice-over narration for, was selected for Atlanta Film Festival. This project was incredibly fun to work on and the animation is STUNNING. It's based on a children's book, written by Sam Carlberg. Check out this link to see more about the book!

I spent the summer at Camp Pinecliffe working as part of the theatre department. I helped cast shows, directed a couple by myself, and traded off running rehearsals with others in the department. Over the course of 7 weeks we managed to pull of 9 shows, most of which were about an hour long. I'm not sure how we did that...
On weekends I tried to hike as many of the presidentials as possible and got some cool shots on top of the mountains. Maine is one of the most gorgeo
The final project of my SCAD career was a film by Cathy Kostova. Based on a sketch by Ricky Gervais, the story focused on Shelly, a woman who found herself attracted to Rafe, a black man working at her advertising agency. Unfortunately she continually finds herself drawing attention to their racial differences and manages to get herself in some pretty awkward situations :) The film was shot partially in a SCAD building, and partially in a cabin on the south side of Savannah
Ovation Awards were such a blast this year! Since Adler was in rehearsal for Into the Woods, George and I went together. It's sad knowing that this is the end of four wonderful years. They added a category this year for best vocal coach, and Josh Moser and I both won. I've had such a lovely time working with all the actors at SCAD and was blessed and honored to receive this award. #annawalkeractor #annawalkervocalcoach #annawalkerscad
The script for this film, directed by Allie Schultz, won an award at UCLA. It told the story of a deaf girl and blind boy who got locked out on a 2nd story porch during a party. The both had to face some fears and social awkwardness in their battle to communicate and find their way off of the porch. Because the whole film took place outdoors at night, we shot from 9pm-5am. I said that this was the closest I would probably ever come to having a 9-5 job, hahaha :) Unfortuna
