I began my journey in the arts as a performer. At the age of nine I played the mailman in a school production and fell in love with theatre. Since then I've earned my BFA in Performing arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and performed on stage and film professionally.
From my love of acting grew a love of directing. I thrive on the "big picture" of a project and the many tasks that take a play/film from conception to completion. I enjoying managing a team of artists, casting a vision for the production, and the joy of collaboration.
For the past four years I have worked primarily as a high school teacher. I have instructed students in Texas, Missouri, and Pennsylvania in Theatre, English, Media Arts, and Communication courses. Currently, I run a rigorous Digital Video & Cinematography program at Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia, PA. I am passionate about encouraging the next generation to step out of their comfort zones and create a better world than the one they were born into.
